Event series

Harvard University’s Center for Hellenic Studies is in the process of planning its annual event series to take place in the Iatrou building in Nafplio, Greece.

We will be hosting scholars and artists who will address some aspect of Greek history and culture, including architecture, archaeology and literature for a non-specialist audience.

In keeping with CHS’s dedication to the advancement of interdisciplinary research through the use of information technology, we request that presenters consider making use of our multimedia infrastructure (i.e teleconferencing system, video projectors, etc.) so that they are able to further engage a diverse audience.

The series will be hosted in the Mazarakis Conference Room and the Vernardakis Digital Library and will be followed by a small reception in the Common Room on the second floor. Presentations may be given in Greek (preferably) or in English and are scheduled to be delivered every month starting from the middle of January through early June 2009.

A detailed program will be announced in December of 2008.
